Job Overview

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing retail properties and leasing processes. The primary objective involves securing and managing leases for retail stores, maintaining property value, and ensuring smooth operations across the retail property portfolio.

We are seeking a high-caliber professional with extensive experience gained from a retail property & leasing environment. This individual will be responsible for negotiating lease terms, renewals, and agreements with tenants or landlords to ensure favorable terms for the company.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also have the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

  • Negotiate lease terms, renewals, and agreements with tenants or landlords to ensure favorable terms for the company
  • Act as the point of contact between the company and landlords or tenants, addressing any issues, concerns, or needs that arise during the lease period
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential retail spaces for new store openings, relocations, or expansions, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, property owners, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and future leasing opportunities
  • Oversee the upkeep of retail properties, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety and building regulations
  • Manage property-related budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations, including rent payments, utilities, and maintenance fees
  • Working with the legal team and coordinating and managing the letter of offers, disclosure documents and leases.
Qualifications
  • Ideally you bring 5-6 years' experience within a similar environment (Retail or QSR)
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed
  • Exceptional and proven leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Extensive experience gained from a retail property & leasing environment is a MUST and will be beneficial to your success
