
Social Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing social work services to patients and their families, liaising with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures in the Alcohol and Drug Unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the administration and reporting requirements of the unit.
- Build knowledge and capacity within the team by sharing social work expertise.
- Demonstrate advanced social work reasoning skills to manage complex clients.
- Provide group-based education and intervention.
- Demonstrated experience working with patients with alcohol and drug issues.
- Demonstrated experience assisting with child protection and homelessness issues.
- Ability to prioritize work and work independently.
