Division: De Martin & Gasparini PL is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations team based in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will plan and control WHS, certification, registration, and compliance requirements for concrete tower booms, mobile and static concrete pumps, and other equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with authorities to determine compliance with requirements for concrete pumping operations
  • Collaborating with clients and internal staff to establish safe and efficient concrete pumping setups, concrete line builds, tower boom installations, and jumping sequences
  • Delivering engineering solutions to meet business requirements within budget and schedule
  • Evaluating tenders and assisting with professional presentations of concrete pumping operations
  • Reviewing and maintaining mechanical standards across the business, ensuring support for project sites using mechanical equipment
  • Maintaining risk management at the highest standard

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with relevant experience in the concrete, construction, or heavy plant and equipment sectors.

Key qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and a trade background in plant and equipment
  • A hydraulic and electromechanical mindset
  • Proven hands-on experience utilizing CAD and BIM software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 AUD, depending on experience.
