Asbestos Removal Supervisor Job

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Class A Asbestos Supervisor to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise asbestos removal activities on construction sites in Western Suburbs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines related to asbestos removal.
  • Direct a team of asbestos removal workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and asbestos clearance processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop asbestos removal strategies.
  • Review and interpret asbestos-related documentation, such as plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records, including asbestos registers, disposal certificates, and incident reports.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Asbestos Supervisor license.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in asbestos removal, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of asbestos removal procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate and guide the asbestos removal team.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential asbestos-related risks and provide practical solutions.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel within Western Suburbs as needed.
