This pivotal role plays a crucial part in high-impact projects, overseeing the entire tender and contract lifecycle to drive business success.
About the PositionManage the entire tender process from initiation to submission, ensuring all documentation and evaluation meets requirements.
Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to gather input for tender responses, leveraging expertise and knowledge.
E nsure timely and accurate tender submissions meet expectations and deadlines.
Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements, maintaining compliance and governance.
Maintain an up-to-date centralized contract register and oversee renewals and compliance processes.
Monitor contract performance and address risks or issues promptly, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related queries across the organization, providing expert guidance and support.
Drive continuous improvement in tendering and contract management processes, identifying best practices and implementing efficiencies.
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in contracts and tender coordination, preferably within mining, construction, or heavy industry.
A strong understanding of contract administration and procurement practices, with the ability to apply knowledge effectively.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems, with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
Experience with ERP systems is desirable, as is familiarity with AS/NZS contract standards.
