As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for setting the tone for the team within the room and helping your team achieve their potential. You will be a team player with a passion for coaching and mentoring, who can ensure that each child is nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and relevant feedback to parents and carers
  • Promote high standards of quality in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Embed and support others in delivering the curriculum and learning experiences
  • Ensure that children are kept safe and, when necessary, follow Safeguarding Procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a day care nursery
  • Management / Leadership experience
  • Minimum childcare qualification at Level 3
  • Well organised and efficient in running a room
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS, Statutory Framework and Safeguarding
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a friendly, collaborative team
