Cleaner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Professional to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of accommodation rooms and common areas at HMAS Albatross in Nowra.

]The Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize accommodation rooms and common areas, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.
  • Maintain floor surfaces and wall surfaces (indoors and outdoor) to prevent damage and ensure a clean environment.
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and other necessary tools.
  • Clean premises and equipment to ensure they are free from dirt and grime.
  • Prepare rooms for guests by ensuring they are clean and tidy.
  • Clean at high levels, paying particular attention to detail to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold full Australian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site.
  • Hold a valid Australian drivers license and reliable transportation to get to the base.
  • Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper, preferably with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Chemical handling experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and friendly demeanor is required.
