**The Role: Leadership and Engineering Excellence**

 

  • Team Leadership:

  • Technical Support and Guidance:
  • Collaborate with global teams to align local efforts with broader project objectives.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to direct reports, enabling them to navigate complex engineering problems.

 

  • Performance Management:
  • Conduct regular performance assessments, providing constructive feedback and setting clear expectations and goals for team members.
  • Facilitate career development discussions and create individualized plans to advance team member growth and proficiency.

 

  • Process Alignment and Improvement:
  • Ensure adherence to established software and firmware development processes, championing best practices and quality standards.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, optimizing team efficiency and output.

 

  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Foster strong relationships with peer managers and global team members to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on team contributions and highlighting areas of success and improvement.

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a software or electronic hardware engineering environment.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent, ability to work collaboratively across global teams, navigate cross-cultural communication effectively, skilled in problem-solving, and providing technical direction to engineering teams.
