Professional Birth Unit Midwife Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife to join our maternity unit at Wollongong Private Hospital.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and in a team as required. They will have a minimum of three years' experience working as a midwife post-registration and will be registered with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional women-centred care before, during and after pregnancy in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team of experienced obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants and allied health professionals.
- Work across birth unit and the ward as part of a supportive inclusive team that prides itself on its positive workplace environment.
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience working as a midwife post-registration.
- Experience in birth suite essential.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team as required.
