**About Our Cafe**

We are a popular takeaway cafe open 7:30am - 3pm Monday - Friday, dedicated to providing our customers with delicious food & coffee paired with friendly service.

**Job Overview**

Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and lead a small team of staff providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Consistently adhere to the highest standards of coffee preparation, ensuring the correct grind, extraction time, and milk texture.
  • Maintain excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Operate coffee equipment & ensure they are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Oversee daily cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, catering, inventory management, and cleanliness of the premises.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring that all menu items are prepared to a high standard.

**Requirements**:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a takeaway or quick-service cafe setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive customer experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Benefits:**

  • Competitive salary range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year.
  • Day shift, fixed shift, Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends.
  • Maitland, NSW 2320: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
