Commerce Teacher Opportunity

Bacchus Marsh Grammar is seeking a Commerce Teacher to join its academic team. The School values excellence, collaboration, and innovation in teaching practice.

We require educators with a strong understanding of the VCE curriculum and assessment requirements in Accounting, Economics, and Business Management. Candidates should be motivated by the challenge of contributing to outstanding academic outcomes for students.

Staff work in a collegial environment where professional dialogue, sharing of expertise, and collective drive for improvement underpin the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.

The preferred candidate will have the opportunity to teach specialist Commerce subjects based on their area of expertise. This includes Accounting, Economics, and Business Management from Units 1 to 4.

Key Requirements:
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications with VIT registration or eligibility for registration in Victoria;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Secondary Commerce Teacher;
  • Proven experience teaching Accounting, Economics, and Business Management in Units 1 to 4;
  • Demonstrated understanding of how student achievement is maximised in the VCE environment; and
  • Evidence of working effectively in a collaborative, high-performing team.
