About the Opportunity

Link Assistive is seeking an experienced Freight Operations Expert to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the company's success.

This role will involve coordinating all aspects of logistics within the company, including booking shipments, managing communication with shipping companies, and tracking and analysing shipment issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, as well as experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate freight operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Manage communication with shipping companies to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Track and analyse shipment issues to identify areas for improvement
  • Unbox incoming deliveries, identify and communicate order discrepancies
  • Allocate supplier items to client orders, and coordinate warehouse stock
  • Ship goods to and from national events, conferences, workshops, and expos
Requirements:
  • Experience in freight operations or a related field
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Great teamwork skills and ability to build positive relationships
