About the Role
We are seeking a talented RF Communications Systems Engineer to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As a key member of our Battlespace Communication System (BCS) Program, you will play a critical role in the design and development of innovative products that provide world-leading communications capability for the Australian Defence Force.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop radio communications systems that meet the needs of our customers.
- Integrate and test sensors and communications systems in both laboratory and platform environments.
- Develop link budgets and perform link performance analysis to ensure optimal system performance.
- Create engineering documentation and manage configuration of RF system hardware.
- Collaborate with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to deliver world-class capabilities across the full product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering, communications systems engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with radio or wireless bearer systems.
- Australian citizenship to meet defence security requirements.
- Experience with HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM, or microwave systems.
- RF COSITE, antenna coupling, and RADHAZ analysis and test.
- RF modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Verification and validation of RF systems.
