About the Opportunity

L3Harris Technologies is a leading aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers' mission-critical needs. As part of our RF team, you will be working with a team of highly skilled RF electronics engineers to solve complex design challenges by utilizing modern tools and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and prototyping of new RF & microwave components and electronic subsystems
  • RF line-up budget calculations, modeling, and simulations of RF & microwave circuits using software packages
  • Qualification testing and documentation of new products, including antenna testing and EMI/EMC testing
  • Ability to participate in generation of formal bids and quotations
  • Ability to deal with customers and present design details and documentation during review
  • Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints
  • Take part in manufacture and test of modules
  • Provide engineering leadership to small multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects
  • Maintain a focus on producing quality products and either recommend enhancements which will promote customer satisfaction or cost reductions

Requirements

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience with RF modeling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office for RF line-up budget calculations, modeling, and simulation of RF & microwave circuits
  • Experience with software, such as Altium or equivalent, for schematics and PCB design
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Experience with a production environment and product development
  • Experience in generating engineering plans, design documentation, and work-breakdown-structures
  • Experience in working with customers to understand project requirements and generating specifications
