Electronics Warfare Specialist

At Raytheon Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Electronics Warfare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions, including design, analysis, implementation, test, and lifecycle support of the safe and secure delivery of MTTES components, modules, and subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system change proposals using the change management processes and conforming to relevant quality management and Australian Standards.
  • Support operational MTTES systems regarding production and support of maintenance procedures, supporting system troubleshooting, requiring liaison with Operations & Maintenance staff.
  • Work with a variety of RF communications aspects including antenna co-site analysis, RF coverage analysis, and radiation hazard analysis.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification (4 year engineering degree) and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience in RF communications design within a process driven engineering environment.
  • Prior experience with ICT-networked RF communication systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to regional and remote locations to perform small team/independent work.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing the safety & risk assessment process and addressing risks through system safety design practices.
  • Eligibility for a security clearance at a level of Negative Vetting Level 1 with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
