Neighborhood Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Neighborhood Ambassador to join our team at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every interaction with our hotel is memorable and enjoyable.

• Neighborhood Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with local events, attractions, and happenings to provide guests with insider knowledge and recommendations.
• Guest Services: Provide seamless check-in and check-out experiences, manage guest bookings, and handle all incoming new room reservations, changes, and cancellations.
• Communication: Develop strong relationships with guests, respond to their needs and concerns, and provide tailored recommendations to enhance their stay.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure a seamless guest experience and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.
• Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest issues promptly, turning challenges into opportunities to exceed guest expectations.

• Previous Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel front desk or customer-facing role.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve guest issues efficiently.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using Opera PMS and other hotel software systems.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Certifications: Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and Safe Food Handling Certificate required.
• Driver's License: Full driver's license and confidence to drive and park cars.
