Are you a skilled and experienced Application Specialist looking for a challenging role in the renewable energy sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our team as an Application Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. This includes designing and implementing DEIF controlled energy solutions, as well as providing pre-sales support and customer liaison.

We are seeking someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who is able to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and resolution of technical issues for all DEIF products

  • Design and implement bespoke customer applications

  • Develop high level single line diagrams

  • Support customer commissioning in field and remote

  • Maintain and update product knowledge of all DEIF products

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering or related field experience

  • Knowledge of PLC or Microprocessor based controls, software, and logic

  • Ability to read/program ANSI C software

  • Knowledge of microgrids, power generation control, and protection of power distribution systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
