About Our Team

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our organisation.

This role will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy across various channels, including social media, public relations, and website content. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that showcases our mission and values, while also providing expert guidance on effective communication practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy that aligns with our organisational goals
  • Create compelling content for social media, public relations, and website updates
  • Provide guidance on effective communication practices and help build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Maintain and update our website content using web content management systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in communications, including strategy development and implementation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences
  • Experience using web content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, or custom CMS) is highly desirable
  • A background in not-for-profit, disability, aged care, education, or health services sectors would be advantageous
