Lead Creative Industries Program

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in our campus.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality, engaging art and creative education to our secondary school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Art and Creative Industries curriculum and program, ensuring it aligns with our vision and objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of engaging art and creative education to our secondary school students.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of art and creative industries teachers.
  • Foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages student innovation and exploration.
  • Coordinate art exhibitions, performances and other creative showcases to celebrate student achievements.
  • Liaise with parents, the school community and external organisations to promote our art and creative programs.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Fine Arts, Visual Arts or a related creative discipline, with proven experience teaching at the secondary school level.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, managing and developing a high-performing art and creative industries program and team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Victorian curriculum and experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students, staff and the wider school community.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in art and creative education.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and a commitment to professional development.
