About the Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to undertake scheduled works for horticultural maintenance in high-profile parks and gardens.

  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure parks and gardens are well-maintained and safe for public use.
  • Operating machinery such as lawn mowers and whipper snippers to maintain grassy areas and undertake weed control.
  • Assisting with playground inspections, cleaning, and other general improvement works in parks, gardens, sports fields, and streetscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake scheduled horticultural maintenance tasks in high-profile parks and gardens.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report any hazards or issues to management.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably with high-profile scheduled maintenance sites.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work health and safety and the practical application of safe working procedures.
