Design Operations Strategist: Elevate Design Productivity

The role of a Design Operations Strategist – Tooling & Enablement is pivotal in fostering productivity with AI and industry-leading design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline Design Workflows: Oversee the entire design toolchain from ideation to delivery, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with the Design Org and technology teams to align on tooling requirements and integrations.
  • Enable Designers: Serve as the central resource for designers, guiding them through operational processes and tool selection.
  • Manage Research Tools: Supervise access, onboarding, and support for research tools utilized by designers.
  • Lead Tool Evaluations: Guide pilots and evaluations for emerging tools, defining success criteria and collecting user feedback.
  • Coordinate Procurement: Negotiate license terms and manage renewals for design tools.
  • Maintain Tool Adoption Metrics: Monitor tool health and adoption metrics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate Knowledge Base: Maintain a self-service repository of guides, templates, and process documentation.
  • Stay Industry-Informed: Remain up-to-date on industry trends in design technology and AI.
