Rehabilitation Consultant

The primary role of a rehabilitation consultant involves working with injured clients to develop effective workplace-based rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the rehabilitation process for a caseload of clients
  • Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans that achieve positive return-to-work outcomes
  • Conduct thorough initial and worksite assessments to identify client needs and goals
  • Provide expert counseling and guidance to clients throughout the rehabilitation process
  • Maintain accurate records and reports detailing client progress
  • Evaluate client performance and provide recommendations for adjustments to their rehabilitation plans
  • Collaborate with referring agencies, employers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless client care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, or osteopathy
  • AHPRA/ESSA registration (graduates considered)
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and customer service skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and manage workload effectively
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Eligibility to work permanently in Australia
