About the RoleWe seek a Diploma qualified Educator to join our team at Mia Mia and Gumnut Cottage, two of four early learning centres operating at Macquarie University. As an advocate for children, you will be responsible for contributing to the educational program, interacting respectfully with children and families, and working collaboratively with a large, diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the educational program, including developmental records
- Interact respectfully and positively with children and families
- Work positively, respectfully, and collaboratively with a large, diverse team
- Maintain a current understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Support and contribute to all diversity, equity, and inclusion activities
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Undertake the Responsible Person and/or Room Leader roles as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- AceCQA approved Diploma in early childhood education
- Approved First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification
- Working with Children Check
- Legafully entitled to work in Australia
