Support Worker Position

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team, providing high-quality in-home aged care and disability support services.

The Role:

Our Personal Care Workers deliver person-centred care and support to Home Care clients, ensuring they receive tailored services and activities that promote their health, happiness, independence, interests, and choices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders
  • Offer domestic assistance, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Offer social support and transportation, including participating in social activities, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to medical appointments
  • Support customers in using aids and equipment, including standing frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, and other physical aids
  • Assist customers with complex or challenging needs
  • Monitor clients' well-being and report progress
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in training sessions as required
  • Work primarily between 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
  • Smartphone with internet access
