Warehouse Management Professional
About the Job:We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Management Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, supply chain logistics, and team leadership. They will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. You will also oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and reconciled regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains a date folder system of all outstanding sales and internal orders to ensure dispatch on or before the nominated order dispatch date.
- Supervises and works with the Assistant Storeman to prioritize orders for the picking, collating, checking, and palletizing in readiness for their collection.
- Ensures all goods are suitably packed and secure prior to pickup to mitigate any damage, loss, or injury whilst in-transit ahead of delivery to their destination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to comfortably and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Persuasiveness - utilizing interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance.
- Must be collaborative in nature, yet have tenacity and drive.
