Nurse Care Specialist

The role of a Nurse Care Specialist involves providing safe and effective direct nursing care to clients and residents. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized care plans, evaluating and making informed decisions, guiding care staff, and improving the quality of life.
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand individual needs and preferences.
- Develop tailored care plans that meet unique requirements.
- Evaluate and make informed clinical decisions for optimal outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to care staff to deliver high-quality care.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated aged care/hospital experience.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night duties.
- Effective communication skills to interact with diverse clients and residents.
- Genuine enthusiasm, care, and compassion for working with older people.
- Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation, and funding submissions.
