Mental Health Specialist for Infants and Children

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team, providing case management and clinical assessment and intervention for infants and children experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health difficulties.

This role involves working with families and young people to develop strategies for promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. As a key member of the Infant and Child Team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management and clinical assessment and intervention for infants and children (aged 0-11 years)
  • Work collaboratively with families and young people to develop strategies for promoting positive mental health and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Eligibility for membership of AHPRA (or the appropriate professional body)
