Senior Cloud Engineer - WebSphere Expert

About the Job:

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced cloud engineer who can handle complex system administration tasks, particularly with WebSphere. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems while adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in system administration and experience working with cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language such as Python or Java is also essential.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being able to coach and mentor team members. A willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies through self-learning, community involvement, or contributing to open-source projects is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure system stability and reliability while meeting SLA standards
  • Troubleshoot complex issues on WebSphere across different platforms
  • Manage SSL certificates and implement security best practices
  • Develop and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Codefresh, Ansible, and Bamboo
  • Contribute to the development of modern applications using Node.js, JavaScript, and React
