Overview

Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Infrastructure Team. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our Azure services as we transition from project delivery to production. In this role, you'll be a technical leader, collaborating across teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving innovation on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking and virtualization
  • Manage and maintain the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by which resources are deployed and defined
  • Support the expansion of Azure Services into the business and provide input to architectural decisions
  • Provide advanced support and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Maintain documentation and promote knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the Systems Administration Manager as needed
  • Work with Cyber Security to implement robust security controls, compliance standards, and access policies
  • Optimize performance and resource utilization across cloud platforms
About You
  • Extensive experience in Cloud Services with a focus on Azure
  • Solid experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevSecOps practices
  • Proficient with IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep) and cloud automation
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards
  • Expertise in performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor less experienced staff
  • Relevant Azure or Cloud certifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering or a related field (desirable)
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1
