Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSIE Teacher to join our team at Corpus Christi Catholic High School, Oak Flats.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time parental leave replacement position commencing 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025. The successful applicant will be required to teach HSIE - Legal and Commerce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching and learning in HSIE - Legal and Commerce.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
  • Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).
  • Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
  • Registration to teach with NESA.
Working with Children Clearance

This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with CEDoW.
