Job Title: HSIE Teacher - Business Studies and Commerce Educator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HSIE Teacher to join our team at Corpus Christi Catholic High School, Oak Flats. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Business Studies and Commerce to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful school culture.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) mission and values.
- Hold a strong commitment to the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
- Be able to plan and deliver effective teaching and learning programs in Business Studies and Commerce.
- Utilize a range of assessment strategies to inform student learning and progress.
- Engage professionally with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy.
- Registration to teach with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA).
