Job Description:
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to design and implement effective compliance frameworks and policies that align with industry standards and organisational objectives.
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance Advisory, you will provide expert compliance advisory services to stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide authoritative guidance on compliance matters related to superannuation, investments, financial advice, administration, insurance broking, and other key areas to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the development and enhancement of comprehensive compliance frameworks and policies, and processes that enable the organisation to effectively manage compliance risks.
  • Undertake line two activities for obligations management, including the maintenance of an up-to-date obligations library.
  • Establish and implement effective monitoring mechanisms for compliance practices, providing advisory support to assess adherence to organisational policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate financial services and trustee licensing and authorisations of entities within the organisation.
  • Undertake line two activities for conflicts management, including governance, conducting conflicts of interest assessments, and preparation of conflicts management plans as required.
  • Conduct reviews of compliance plans for managed investment schemes.
  • Review product disclosure documentation and marketing collateral to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Deliver training programs on compliance frameworks and policies to staff members.
