About the Role

Everyday Independence is seeking a highly skilled Developmental Educator to join our interdisciplinary team in North Western Melbourne.

As a Developmental Educator, you will work closely with participants and their support networks to develop new skills and habits, and problem-solve challenges that prevent them from living fulfilling lives.

Our team is passionate about removing barriers for people with disabilities and ensuring NDIS-funded participants achieve the best possible outcomes for a significantly improved quality of life.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support and planning for people with disabilities, their families, and support teams.
  • Build strong relationships to help participants envision a life full of positive experiences and opportunities for people of all ages.
  • Work alongside participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits, and problem-solve challenges that prevent participants from living fulfilling lives.
  • Champion the role of a social model practitioner by helping people overcome barriers that keep them from engaging with their local community and the wider world.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of $83,582 - $100,342, including annual leave loading and superannuation.
  • A flexible working arrangement, with a minimum of 4 days per week.
