We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for leading site safety initiatives and ensuring company safety policies and procedures are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading site safety initiatives and being a visible safety champion.
- Ensuring company safety policies and procedures are implemented.
- Ensuring agreed customer service levels are met on a consistent basis and regularly reviewing and taking corrective actions to address any issues.
- Monitoring and measuring productivity against targets, identifying and implementing corrective actions to address any gaps.
- Seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement with a focus on cost reduction and ensuring all staff are trained to operate all machinery/equipment and understanding the Company's warehouse work systems.
- Developing and implementing succession planning by providing an environment for developing and motivating others and building effective teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing and logistics management, preferably 3PL.
- Proven history of cost control and improvement.
- Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and standards.
- Experience with managing customer relationships and resolution of issues.
- Ability to work in a Freezer environment.
