Job Details

A vacancy exists for an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse to work at a 103-bed hospital in rural New South Wales.

Location and Environment

The hospital is situated approximately 630 km north of Sydney, providing access to various activities and attractions in the region, including gorge walking, kayaking, and wineries.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ICU nurse to provide care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-pressure environments and be able to think critically to make informed decisions.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care to patients with diverse medical needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and report any changes or concerns to relevant staff members
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold current registration as a nurse in Australia and have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an ICU environment.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, temporary position commencing from 27 December 2024 and concluding on 1 January 2025. On-call duties will be required during the period of employment.
