Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Cyber Security

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Cyber Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities, contributing to the development and delivery of research projects, and enhancing the research profile of Computer Science and STEM.

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in Cyber Security to undergraduate, Honours and postgraduate students.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects in Cyber Security, working collaboratively with colleagues from across the University.
  • Enhance the research profile of Computer Science and STEM through the development of a program of high impact and collaborative research, supported by competitive research grant funding in Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have a doctoral qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related discipline, and professional/industry experience. You will also have a demonstrated track record of the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning activities in a range of settings and student experience levels, evidenced by student evaluations.

About the Role:

The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will play a key role in shaping the academic leadership and delivery of STEM's undergraduate, Honours and postgraduate programs. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues from across the University to develop and deliver research projects in Cyber Security, and contribute to the enhancement of the research profile of Computer Science and STEM.
