Job Title: Cyber Security Expert

This is a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of complex environments. The successful candidate will be involved in key Cyber Security projects as well as day to day security operational matters.

About the Role

The Cyber Security Specialist will oversee daily Cyber security operations, including security incident and event monitoring, incident response and threat management to maintain a secure environment.

This includes coordinating vulnerability assessments and patch management processes to address security gaps and enhance system resilience.

The Specialist will also be involved in Governance reviews of ICT changes managed internally or by contracted service providers or established panels.

Additionally, they will conduct comprehensive security architecture reviews to identify and mitigate risks in system designs and provide appropriate security advice as part of ICT projects.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in Security Operations or advisory roles, particularly in infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Experience working with network security devices, including firewalls, WAFs and other threat prevention appliances.
  • Proven track record in conducting/facilitating vulnerability assessment, patch management and coordinating remediation with business owners.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
