Job Opportunity:

Senior Production Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take ownership of production and material planning for multiple product lines across all manufacturing sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Demand Planning through the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, requiring strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the planning and production control team in day-to-day activities across 4 manufacturing sites.
  • Mentor and assist in the development of staff members, including performance reviews and development plans.
  • Preparation of management/executive scorecards and reporting, participation in management meetings and operational reviews.
  • Develop and implement SIOP processes within Business Units and Sites.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information relating to forecasts from various sources.
  • Provide clear build requirements/forecast to internal and external manufacturing partners, monitor delivery and lead improvement activities.
  • Work on and lead inventory management activities to ensure inventory targets are met.
  • Partner with procurement team to support identification and validation of material requirements and best practice inventory management and controls.
  • Transform supply chain processes to improve efficiency using MRP and wider ERP as the core.
  • Manage accurate MRP inputs, diagnose incorrect MRP outputs, and utilize MRP functionality to manage supply and demand efficiently.
  • Cross-train with existing members of staff to help cover sickness/vacation periods.
  • Coordinate with Engineering on NPI products to help achieve best possible time to market.
  • Manage new and existing product ramps ensuring availability of appropriate capacity and resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within the supply chain.
  • Demonstrate and adhere to company values.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience in production planning and control.
  • Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
