DCL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join a fast-paced, high-performing team in Alexandria.

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will lead and mentor junior supply planners in a complex apparel business with a large number of SKUs. The ideal candidate has high-volume experience in Apparel, Pharmaceutical, or Grocery industries, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of international supply chain documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing and create purchase orders for brands
  • Create POs to meet requirements and lead times
  • Liaise with vendors and planning teams on order status
  • Work with Freight Forwarders to ensure POs are in their system and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor inbound shipments with freight forwarders and suppliers
  • Identify consolidation opportunities for vessel capacity and schedules
  • Evaluate pricing, duty, commissions, and royalties on all shipped POs
  • Review shipping conditions and communicate regularly with the planning team on delays
  • Cordinate with Warehouse and 3rd parties to schedule inbound deliveries
  • Ensure delivery receipt according to agreed schedules
  • Check pricing issues and raise credits prior to customs clearance
  • Track sales samples and promo materials – goods receipt and billing
  • Run reports in SAP to identify issues and resolve

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SAP essential
  • Experience with Apparel/Pharmaceutical/Grocery industries
  • Must have worked with a high number of SKUs (1000's)
  • Understanding of International trade and logistics practices - documentation, Free Trade Agreements, and Certificate of Origin
  • Experience in Purchase Order creation from factory pick-up to container/international hub/vessel/forwarder/warehouse
  • Customer-focused with sound problem-solving and time management skills
  • Adaptable and willing to learn with high attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills - Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc

  • An attractive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Full-time hours of 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
  • Alexandria location, close to the train station (Green Square) and onsite parking available
