Job Description

The role of a Technology Solutions Specialist involves driving technology design, implementation, and optimization for customer projects/accounts.

This includes working with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose Cisco's suite of products, services, and solutions.

  • Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance.
  • Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.
  • Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
  • Create and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Align technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
  • Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources on the strategy/deployment/optimization of services and solutions.
  • Take a Technical Leadership role in execution of delivery projects.
  • Improve solutions and methods developed in the field for use to the wider practice (knowledge sharing).
  • Create, review, and approve project deliverables.
  • Build and/or leverage test environments as required to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues.
  • Leverage software skills and tools to configure, deploy, and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a strong background in Enterprise Network architecture design and deployment. They should also have demonstrated abilities to juggle simultaneous work tasks ranging from system/solution integration to complex technical issues dealing with protocols, network devices, and other technical areas.

  • Strong experience and understanding of Cisco Routing & Switching solutions in the Enterprise space.
  • Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent plus 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certifications or equivalent experience.
