Digital Engineering Coordinator Job Description

The role of a Digital Engineering Coordinator is to support and drive the implementation of digital engineering practices across multiple projects. This involves working closely with project teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of design models, virtual design reviews, and other digital engineering processes.

As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will be responsible for managing diverse projects to ensure they are delivered with excellence. This includes coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, implementing clash detection strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 19650.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement digital engineering protocols
- Manage validation, acceptance, and maintenance of digital information into federated Digital Engineering delivery models across projects
- Federate and review design Information Models including Quality Assurance model checks, clash detection/mitigation and risk control processes
- Generate information needed for reports, model production and delivery
- Assist in facilitating Digital Engineering model-based design coordination and planning design reviews with the project teams
- Be able to explain and deliver projects within an ISO19650 certified environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the use of DE/BIM/VDC/CDE software used to deliver large scale infrastructure projects including federated model management, model-based design coordination and review, 4D construction sequencing, clash detection and model validation.
  • An Associate Diploma or Diploma in Engineering or relevant field (or equivalent experience/qualifications)
  • Experience in 3D modelling and coordination packages (Revizto, Navisworks, Solibri, Synchro, Revit, etc)
