Role Summary

As a Mine Scheduling Specialist focused on Draglines, you will report directly to the Dragline Lead Engineer and will be instrumental in providing design and execution guidance for the Saraji Mine Operation.

This technical position is responsible for the design, scheduling, and optimization of the Dragline fleet at Saraji. Utilize your established mine planning expertise in this dynamic and demanding short-term planning role to cultivate effective working relationships with operational and medium-term planning teams, ensuring the efficient implementation of your plans and schedules.

This position offers flexible work patterns, including 8/6 or 4/3 schedules, with options for FIFO/DIDO or residential living arrangements to accommodate your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop execution designs and sequences for Dragline operations;
  • Communicate designs and schedules effectively to Operations;
  • Establish and adhere to Production Planning standards and processes;
  • Engage in the investigation of reported events related to Production Planning;
  • Identify and implement initiatives for improving Production Planning processes;
Candidate Profile

As the ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • A degree in Engineering and prior experience in a Coal Mining environment.
  • Experience as a Dragline engineer with proficiency in 3D Dig and section work using Vulcan, Deswik, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships across various departments and engage with professionals at all levels.
