About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled litigator to join our team and contribute to the growth of our litigation practice. Our firm is known for its high-end work in corporate and commercial law, and we have a strong pipeline of interesting litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act on complex, high-stakes disputes across various courts
  • Work on general commercial litigation, property disputes, and insolvency matters
  • Advise clients including listed corporates, major property and energy companies, and private businesses
  • Take ownership of files while collaborating with partners on major matters
Recent Matters
  • Acting for a listed mining services company in Supreme Court proceedings involving a shareholder dispute arising from a failed joint venture
  • Defending a national property developer in proceedings brought by a major tenant for breach of lease and misrepresentation claims
  • Advising the liquidators of a collapsed fintech company on recovery strategies involving insolvent trading claims against former directors and complex cross-border asset tracing
  • Successfully resolving a high-profile dispute between two family-owned agribusinesses, involving contested ownership of rural land and business operations
  • Acting for a prominent private equity fund in urgent Federal Court proceedings to enforce a drag-along clause and complete a contested share sale
  • Advising a national franchisor on a multi-party dispute involving breaches of restraint of trade and misuse of confidential information by a former licensee
About You

Ideally, you will be a commercial litigator with:

  • 3-7+ years' experience in litigation or disputes (general commercial, insolvency or property-related work ideal)
  • Excellent attention to detail and an organised approach to managing matters
  • Ambition to progress, whether that's in title or to be seen as a future leader
