Real Estate Lawyer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to support our growing portfolio of utility-scale solar projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate law, with a focus on renewable energy projects, land use, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, draft, and review real estate agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, easements, rights-of-way, and title curative documents.
  • Conduct and oversee title, survey, and environmental reviews to identify and resolve potential land-use issues.
  • Work closely with landowners, developers, and third-party consultants to ensure smooth transactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction or eligible for in-house counsel registration.
  • 5+ years of legal experience in real estate law, with a preference for experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities.
  • Strong expertise in commercial real estate transactions, land use law, title review, and permitting.
  • Experience negotiating with landowners, developers, and governmental agencies.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations impacting solar development is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business acumen and ability to provide strategic legal advice.
