Academic Educator in Central Australian Indigenous Studies

A key role is available for an individual who will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students in Central Australia.
The successful candidate will hold cultural authority and deliver education grounded in Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality education and training that incorporates Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.
A student-centred teaching approach with a strong focus on learning outcomes is essential for this role.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Be identified as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, recognised by an appropriate community body
- Have a proven ability to deliver high-quality education and training that incorporates Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a record of effective student and community engagement
- Be able to speak at least one Indigenous language of Central Australia
