About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to delivering an engaging learning experience and supporting Indigenous students and communities in Central Australia.

  • Delivering a high-quality, student-centred learning experience that promotes success
  • Developing innovative education programs using cutting-edge technologies and analytics
  • Enhancing students' skills and mindset for the knowledge economy

The successful candidate will have cultural authority and deliver education grounded in Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.

This role strengthens our engagement with Indigenous communities and supports culturally responsive healthcare education in the Northern Territory, contributing to our Reconciliation Action Plan.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Identification as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, recognised by an appropriate community body.
  • A proven ability to deliver high-quality education and training that incorporates Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.
  • A teaching approach with a strong focus on learning outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a record of effective student and community engagement.
  • Ability to speak at least one Indigenous language of Central Australia.
