Job Description

The role of a production trainer involves hands-on development and delivery of course material, conducting individual competency assessments and coordinating document management. You will have the opportunity to work one on one with people as well as be involved in our ISO9001 certification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting training courses for high-risk plant, e.g. Steam Turbine Operation, Basic and Intermediate Steam Boiler operation.
  • Conducting Utilities area inductions and area training as required.
  • Maintaining currency with DOSEP, WHS and NOHSC legislation for high pressure plant.
  • Ensuring legislative and operational changes to power generation training and assessment auditing criteria are captured and developed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:

  • A high level of health, safety and environmental awareness is required.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in delivering training in a minerals processing or refining operation and associated current qualifications is necessary.
  • Sound computer literacy with basic level skills in MS Office and proficient in using Oracle is required.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40116), or currently working towards, is essential.
  • A High Risk Licence and WA C Class Driver's Licence is also required.
