The Position; Reporting to the Training & Consulting Team lead within our Technical Service & Support Division, this position seeks a Trainer-Consultant to join our team in Perth supporting the APAC region customer base.

This role is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing support of Hexagon's FMS and Safety product suite. You will provide guidance, training, and support on our portfolio, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will act as a trusted advisor between our customers and internal teams, including sales, software engineering, and hardware technicians, to deliver comprehensive support throughout the customer lifecycle with Hexagon.

This position is transient in assignment location. The home base is Perth, supporting the Southern APAC region, which may include interstate and international travel. You will join an 8:6 roster, with work locations varying between customer sites, home offices, or interstate offices, with potential ad hoc location changes.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Technical

  • Background in Mining Operations with experience in FMS/Safety system operations within UG/Surface production environments.
  • Class C driver's license required.
  • Experience working in dynamic environments, managing multiple portfolios.
  • Prior experience in training delivery/customer support for mine operating systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for positive customer service.

General

  • Ability to independently lead your deliverables, demonstrating initiative and self-starting capabilities.
  • Proactive, agile, and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.

Desirable

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment is desirable.
  • Prior experience with HxGN Systems or Safety System product suites for mine operations.
