About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior E&I Designer to play a pivotal role in the transition to renewable energy systems and decarbonisation.

Your expertise will directly influence our clients' and their customers' ability to achieve their energy transition objectives, making a tangible impact on the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical design capability across various sectors, including electrical, instrumentation, PLC automation, and single-line drawings (SLD's).
  • Create engineering designs, such as schematics, plant layouts, network drawings, panel, switchboard, and remote IO box general arrangement drawings.
  • Craft simple structural and civil drawings for substations, transformers, and instrument brackets.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation drawing packages.
  • An understanding of generating bills of materials, estimates, and quotations for tenders.
  • A deep knowledge of Australian Drafting Codes and Standards.
  • A strong background in electrical design, preferably with experience in mining, oil & gas, water infrastructure, or materials handling industries.
