Join our team as a Senior Primary Design Engineer and contribute to the development of innovative energy solutions.We are seeking a skilled engineer with experience in primary substation design to join our engineering division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs, collaborating with other disciplines, and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards.This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting energy transition projects and make a meaningful contribution to the growth of Australia's renewable energy sector. If you have a passion for electrical engineering, strong technical skills, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from youKey Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary substation design up to 500kV, including layout, equipment arrangement, and electrical clearances
  • Perform design calculations
  • Develop complete design packages including BOMs and technical specs for HV equipment
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free, optimised designs
  • Review system studies
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
  • CPEng or working towards it
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia)
